Our History

Our church was formed in 1973 through the merging of the Goodwood, Colonel Light Gardens, and Westbourne Park Baptist churches, each having a rich history from as early as 1877.

Over 40 years on from our reformation in 1973 a new era has begun. The Trinity Membership has launched a “Venture in Faith” to revitalise this church for a new generation. We have refurbished our property to make it fresh and inviting, and we have built a modern safe children’s playground. There are more people around our facilities, more noise, more fun, more laughter, more music and more stories being shared.

We aspire to share the good news Jesus came to reveal, that God loves us, and He loves you too. We foster worship and other special activities for all ages. We extend a warm invitation to all people who might like to come and check out the Trinity Baptist Church community.
